Apogee Power-USA, an American Service-Disabled Veteran, Minority-Owned, SDB business that has, without outside investment, conquered thermal runaway (no fire, no explosions) and created a scientifically certified battery pack and cells that meets DOD/DOE safety requirements.
Apogee Power USA (AUSA) battery packs and cells utilize LiFePO4 (LFP 26650). One cell has the highest Li-Ion power density. The other cell has the highest Li-Ion Energy density. Each cell type has been certified UL1642 and UL1973 for no thermal runaway.
The Apogee battery line was invented by the late Dr. K.C. Tsai in Silicon Valley as Apogee Power, Inc. The AUSA organization was formed by Dr. K. C. Tsai and USMC Veteran Michael Harper.
